You may think FBC sells only by the case in the General Store? Well, think again! We now offer thousands of items in single units! This gives you the opportunity to try some new things without being stuck with an entire case if you don't like it. Of course it is cheaper to order by the case, so after you've tried out all those new items, you can save money by ordering in bulk.

Just include the word "single" in your searches to see the list of single items available for a product. Don't forget to check the single items we already carry in the Corner Store Deli. Say good-bye to those heavy suitcases on your trips back home for things you need just one of!

Postal Transfer: Payment can be made at any post office Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm, except holidays. Get a "furikae yoshi" at the post office, acct. # 01140-5-33945. See the sample in your General Store catalog.

Bank Transfer: Please be sure to enter your FBC # then your name and send to one of the following banks:

Special Delivery Request: You can select your preferred day of delivery upon checkout of your online order. Note: delivery companies often deliver at their own convenience, but we'll pass along your request!

FBC imports goods on your behalf under the Personal Importing System. These goods must be for your personal use only and in a "reasonable quantity". Goods ordered are purchased by you from FBC, USA in Los Angeles. FBC Japan is your agent in this process.

STEP 1. When to send your order?
General Store Orders are processed every Friday.

Our online catalog lists about 10,000 of the most popular items, but in fact, we can get over 40,000 items! If you still can't find what you want, fax or e-mail your request and we'll see if we can get it for you.

STEP 2. Place your order.
Order online here... by fax, mail or email your order to us. To order via email, just include the details and let us know how you'll pay.

STEP 3. Payment
Most people use their credit card for payment. If you've ordered before, simply state "Charge the card I used last time." If you are paying by postal furikae or bank transfer, please fax a receipt of your payment with your order form, making sure that your name and FBC # are written on it to prevent delivery delays.

STEP 4. Shipping Invoice Letter
You will receive a shipping invoice letter from FBC USA within 2 weeks of the order Friday describing the status of your order.

STEP 5. Delivery
General Store Orders are delivered in about 31-36 days from the order Friday date. Most orders deliver between Tuesday and Saturday unless you request otherwise. Your order is delivered to you - anywhere in Japan! Yeah!!

By the Way...
About 5% of all cases ordered will result in a backorder or a discontinued item. Please expect it! We hate it too, but because we buy from supermarket suppliers and because of maker changes, it's beyond our control. Our policy is to automatically backorder an item if it's still available; if it isn't, we'll credit your account. Thanks for understanding!

If you are planning for a special occasion, order at least a week early and specify the delivery date on your order form. We will do our best!

When is the order deadline?
All General Store orders should be in by Midnight of the order Friday. Orders received after that time will be processed a week later on the following Order Friday.

What happens if I missed my delivery?
Simply give us a call and we will arrange for re-delivery. If you fax, e-mail, or leave a message, please let us know when you ordered and when you'd like to receive your goods. We can't guarantee a specific time for delivery but we will pass the requested day on to the delivery company.

Is there a limit on the quantity I can order of a particular item?
FBC imports goods on your behalf under the Personal Importing System. General Store orders must be for personal use and within a "reasonable quantity." Due to Customs limitations, "drug store" items have specific case limits.

Non-specified cases (ie most others!) have a limit of 5 cases per member, per order. Drinks are set at a maximum of 10 cases per member per order!.

Non-member option: Choose the non-member option to add 5% to your order subtotal if you prefer not to pay the ¥1,000 for 1 year of membership.
